4/2/12 - Votacall Hosted VoIP - Boston, Massachusetts - The new buzz term in Cloud technology is the Personal Cloud which Gartner says "will rule in the next 2 years". With the world utilizing technologies like iCloud and Dropbox, enterprises are ready for employee Personal Cloud technology and VMware will be ready to deliver. This mainstream Cloud adoption will increase the adoption of everything Cloud based included Hosted VoIP. Many businesses are hesitant to implement VoIP due to the FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt) created by large equipment manufacturers when in reality a solid VoIP platform will provide true (5) 9's reliability whereas on-premise equipment simply cannot. It makes sense, which would be easier to control quality (1) softswitch with a mirrored backup or thousands of Class 3 on-premise switches? I am getting off track here, but Votacall sees a huge opportunity created by the adoption ofthe personal Cloud technology.
