Survey Shows Me that VoIP and the Cloud is a Great Industry Right Now

2/27/2013- Votacall Hosted VoIP - Boston, Massachusetts- I received a phone call today, this call required me to answer a survey about our economy; I reluctantly stayed on the line to see what the surveyor had to say. The survey was all questions about the company I work for and if we are experiencing positive or negative times since the recession. He seemed shocked that most of my answers were towards the positive trend and that we were not going through lay offs or spending out of our own pockets.

I wondered for a little why he was surprised at my answers and then a light bulb went off in my head! The Cloud Communication and Hosted VoIP Industry is doing better than any other one. I never actually realized how lucky our company was to be thriving in such a growing industry. Its not all luck because our owners took the risk and adopted the new ideas early and quickly. Nowadays they are far ahead of the competition and we are able to have competitive advantages over competitors.

I guess the rest of the United States economy is struggling since the recession. But the telecom industry is flourishing with these new developed products/services. In the long run hopefully the rest of the economy can recover. Since our industry is so successful, there are no concerns to going bankrupt as I informed the surveyor. In the meantime, our industry will be able to hold the United States economy out of complete chaos. It certainly is good to be the successful ones of the times and not have to worry about losing the company. I know business is never easy, but as long as VoIP and Cloud Communications continue to thrive, we should be just fine.
