7/17/2012- Votacall Hosted VoIP & Cloud Based UC Solutions- Boston, Massachusetts–I heard of a cool new business idea today, VoIP phone calling cards. You know those constant hassle calling cards you purchase for long distant calls? Well your hassles have been eliminated by Cheap VoIP Inc. a hosted voip provider. But instead of normal managed voip services, the company focuses on calling cards. I always wondered why my calling cards would lose minutes faster than I was talking. The reason is hidden fees; many cards charge you 40 minutes for every hang up. Anyone that has tried calling overseas knows that calls are often dropped (My sister lives in Africa and this happens all the time). So you purchase a 50 minute calling card and use it once for a ten minute phone call. Later that week you try and make another call only to find your card is used up because the card charged you the remaining 40 minutes once you hung up. I find this ridiculous and backstabbing by those calling card companies.

Problems solved, enter Cheap VoIP Inc. A Cloud Communication company focusing on making calling cards straight forward and hassle free. We all know the benefits of cloud communications and unified communications, but I never thought about using these advantages towards a calling car. This idea is very intriguing with the increase in long distance rates going through the roof. I work for a Massachusetts VoIP company and know the issues of calling long-distance since we are in the north east. Picture the Reliable VoIP we are used too incorporated into a calling card. This could put those companies who produce calling cards riddled with hidden fees out of business. The VoIP calling cards are different, they utilize Voice over IP to bring the customer better quality and lower rates; without predatory billing terms. This company has begun to extend its services to more cities every month. As it stands, you can call from many United States cities to London, Montreal and future plans to Toronto, Tokyo and Paris. There are ranges of quality and billing to choose from and the prices start on a 6-second increment basis, including zero surprises.

The Mobility provided by this managed voip service is incredible and could change the calling card industry. With all other telecom companies such as Polycom, Broadsoft, Votacall, Verizon, Motorola and AT&T focusing on land-lines or typical Cloud Communication there are no competitors besides the old typical stingy calling card providers. This appears good for Cheap VoIP Inc. and I am going to continue watching this company in the future; as they have the floor-plan to succeed.
