4/8/2013- Votacall Hosted VoIP - Boston, Massachusetts- There are many technologies in the world; some old, some new, while some are still developing. At the mainframe of most technologies lies a few key individuals who generate these bright ideas. They are thinkers, understanding the requirements to establish a new successful technology. They are not always successful, but with the assistance and collaboration of several other great minds, their determination prevails. Hosted VoIP is one such technology that was established through determination and tremendous trial & error. There are key players in this industry that have led to its strong and giant expansion within the telecom industry.

Two of the top three Hosted VoIP influencers, according to GetVoIP, are with the company Cisco Systems; their chairman & CEO and Vice President respectively. The fourth most influential is Polycom CEO, Andrew Miller, who has formed the company into a Unified Communication powerhouse. Number 13 is Michael Tessler, the CEO at BroadSoft, who has built the company into one of the strongest functional Hosted VoIP platforms. You may wonder why I skipped several influencers on the list? That is because I choose each person on the top half of the list that was working for a partner with my company, Votacall. I have had direct experience with these executives organizations and understand how influential they are. Our Votacall VoIP platform gains tremendous credibility and functionality by the additions each partnering company offers to us. When we combine their services with our mission, organization structure and services; we are able to establish a VoIP platform that rivals any other provider on the market.

When you have relations with influential executives in the industry, you have a leg up over the competition. I've heard it my entire life, "its all about who you know" and I find that truthful through daily experiences. Votacall's ability to partner with industry leaders gives us a strong basis to base our products and services on. Our own technology and support team is remarkably knowledgeable and driven which is only complimented by the technology resources of partners such as Polycom, BroadSoft and Cisco Systems. The executives and organizations talked about have help establish VoIP as a telecom trend and continue to help aid its growth.

Hosted VoIP is a technology that has seen tremendous growth and prosperity. Part of the credit can be paid to the executives listed by GetVoIP, specifically the most influential executive, Mark Spencer of Digium. "Creator of Asterisk, one of the biggest open source platforms, if not the open source platform of the VoIP market" according to GetVoIP. Hes a brilliant man who has tremendous knowledge about the VoIP industry and has been improving the technology for everyone to use since day one. The list of influencers could go on for a while, but I think you get the idea. Influencers are critical to establishing new technologies and making sure they develop properly.

There are many technologies in the world, over a wide spectrum of ideas. However, there are not many that are currently growing similar to Hosted VoIP. Its taken the telecom industry by storm and is convincing people to switch from a premise-based system into a VoIP one. Its credibility of top level executives and huge corporations has been very influential into this trend. The influential executives are pushing the Hosted VoIP & Unified Communication ideas with the intent being that they becoming the leading telecom trend for all sizes of business. These factors are pushing the current growth and will only continue to see it flourish in the future.
