Broadsoft (NASDAQ:BSFT) introduced BroadTouch Business Communicator, a fixed-mobile convergence product that extends BroadSoft’s hosted IP telephony and UC features including voice, video, instant messaging, presence, and unified call data recording to mobile devices. BroadSoft is supporting Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), Apple (NASDAQ:APPL), and Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) mobile operating systems.Forty-six percent of companies are integrating or planning to integrate mobile devices into their UC platforms, while another 35% are still evaluating solutions. Meanwhile, thanks to "Bring Your Own Device" purchasing models and employee demand for mobile device choice, the breadth of company-supported device types is rapidly expanding: More than 90% of companies support or tolerate iOS-based phones and tablets, while almost 83% of companies have the same policy for Android-based devices.Impacts:
