Votacall: On Demand Cloud Technology

Last week displayed the true power, flexibility, ease and on-demand nature of the cloud and the Votacall VBX. An existing All Business Communications customer called our Sales Office in a panic. A few months prior, her organization had made the decision to expand their sales team to create more revenue opportunities outside of their current geographic footprint. The hiring managers and recruiters went into action and hired 12 new employees, 10 remote sales executives and 2 additional operations people to handle the anticipated growth. Everything was in place for Day 1 of this new remote sales group with one big exception......nobody called to place an order for additional Votacall VBX licenses. Now here we are, a frantic customer on the phone, 12 new employees starting in the morning and nothing has been done to accomodate them. After waiting for our contact to finish her urgent plea to help. We confidently responded with, relax...it is not a big deal. Now nobody likes to hear "relax" when they are in a panic and she was no exception. However, we continued by saying, this is not your traditional telecom solution as we do not have to be concerned about upgrades, compatability, modules or VM capacity nor do we need to schedule a tech visit for programming and install. If you need additional features, functionality or capacity, we turn it up in the data center and it gets delivered to you. The stress of the situation clouded (pun intended) her thought process on the telecom solution she made the decision to implement, the Votacall VBX. Needless to say, we turned up the additional licenses and all of the new employees had a presence on the system prior to walking through the door for their first day at their new job. To us, it was just another day at the office.
