Hosted VoIP: A Disruptive Technology

Posted by Andrew DeAngelis - 26 April, 2012

4/19/12 - Votacall Hosted VoIP - Boston, Massachusetts - I have been saying that Hosted VoIP is disruptive technology for years and the world is starting to come aroud. You see traditional firms or carriers revamping or attempting to revamp how they do business. Often times that means a large equipment manufacturer or carrier will slap a band aid on on a legacy product and/or mindset and call it Cloud and some will truly attempt to adjust through acquisition. Regardless of the scenario, if the behemoths are even in a room talking about it, they have fear of the new technological world we reside in and that alone is disruptive. Many will fail because they are too big to be flexible. Some will succeed in the short term until the band aid is harshly torn off revealing an open wound. A small few get it and have adjusted as the world adjusted. It will be those companies that recognize Hosted VoIP, the oldest Son of the Cloud, as the heir to the communications throne. Like his Father, Cloud, Hosted VoIP is Disruptive, Aggressive and Intelligent. Some people find those characteristics intimidating and hard to handle, Votacall views them as leadership qualities.
