7/23/2012- Votacall Hosted VoIP & Cloud Based UC Solutions- Boston, Massachusetts–As with most industries, the larger corporations constantly try and lower costs to cut out the mom and pop shops and mid-sized businesses. The same happens within the Cloud Computing industry. The services are already cheaper than the old IP-PBX Systems and should'nt have to go any lower. But certain large providers such as Polycom, Broadsoft and ShoreTel play off each others price; trying to have the lowest. Similar to Wal-Marts philosophy of having the lowest prices, a few of these companies strive for the same. Having the lowest prices in the industry can give you a large market share. However, Wal-Mart has the lowest prices but happens to have the lowest value of products. For example, if you buy a pair of shoes from there you are expecting them to only last a couple months. Whereas, buying a pair of shoes from Foot Locker can guarantee you a solid half a year of wear. The Cloud has no fabric or wear level, but the service can definitely be different in value and reliability. A company may want to pay the lowest amount possible for Hosted VoIP Services but can they afford to get un-reliable service? Communication is one of the most important facets of business an without a reliable service a company could fail. Their employees need the opportunity for mobility in this ever changing world and the Votacall Customer Experience can deliver that. As spoken about in a prior blog, a company must plan what service they want to hire. Without a good plan for the implementation of the Cloud, it will become a rocky transition and could lead to failure. Purchasing reliable and above average cloud services is key, the price is always cheaper than the old systems; therefore there is no reason to go with the cheapest voip provider.
