7/24/2012- Votacall Hosted VoIP & Cloud Based UC Solutions- Boston, Massachusetts–In the ever growing Cloud Communication world, businesses are hiring more Cloud specialists. In opposition to the idea that Cloud services would allow for companies to eliminate some IT positions. The companies are tending to restructure their IT department in a trend leading towards more Cloud knowledgeable IT personnel. Whether they are hiring these employees to create a private cloud platform, or they are hired to help the transition go smoothly from an old premise based system to the new IP-PBX system. In either case, it is creating new job opportunities for a hurting economy with a high unemployment rate. The issue lies with the limited supply of cloud knowledgeable individuals looking for work. Not every telecom employee has the required skills needed for these jobs. But as the need for these specific employees grows, as will the supply of them I predict. For all we know, Cloud Communications could become a major at college or at a trade school. This proves that the belief of cutting IT jobs because of companies using Hosted Cloud Services is false. If a company is transitioning to a Hosted VoIP provider, they might want a cloud specialist working on their team. This way they can be guaranteed to receive the best deal/services possible. Some executives are nervous about making the shift to Unified Communications because they don't know much about it; leaving the possibility for them getting screwed by a supplier. However, with the Votacall VoIP Customer Experience there is no worry of this, as we provide the best cloud service available at the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) possible. But with the addition of knowledgeable Cloud IT employees, the transition could only be smoother and allow for an unbelievable switch for a company. Ultimately, giving out more IT jobs because of the Cloud is going to positivley affect a lot of things and will help our economy grow in the future.
