The Future Expansion of VoIP

Posted by Andrew DeAngelis - 15 October, 2012

10/15/2012- Votacall VoIP – Boston, Massachusetts- There are hundreds upon hundreds of voip providers within the United States these days. I'm constantly wondering if large companies such as Verizon and AT&T would ever consider joining the field. They are long standing and powerful telecom companies. With their influence, knowledge and resources they could become very successful.

However, the issue is they are far to big to have personal service. At Votacall, we are small enough to make every customer seem important and large enough where we offer enough resources to any big customer. As it stands, BroadSoft is one of the largest voip supplier in the country. If they don't ever have to deal with competition from a company the size of Verizon, they should be encouraged. As it is, our industry is highly fragmented and several companies hold down each region of the country.

VoIP seems to be the next big thing, leading many businesses to adopt into the field. We have been operating in this market for 7 years, allowing us to hold an advantage over its competitors. It will definitely be interesting to see where the industry is in 10 year and notice who the leading business is. VoIP is the next greatest thing and has the ability to adopt and grow with new companies. The industry has changed telecommunications as a whole.
