4/22/2013- Votacall Hosted VoIP - Boston, Massachusetts- The gap between premise-based users and hosted voip users is diminishing. Companies of all sizes are realizing there is a great advantage to using a hosted system as opposed to managing one completely yourself. It saves lots of manpower and of course lowers costs. The benefits are being showed to the business sector and is making many telecom choices easier. My best guess is that Hosted VoIP systems will eventually overtake premise-based ones because they are far more efficient and cost effective.
Any company that has used a VoIP system has seen productivity rise and continues to reap the benefits. It would be my guess that none of these companies would make the switch back to premise-based. A hosted system benefits all sizes of business, small or large. You only pay for what you use, no hidden fees or charges for scaling your system larger or smaller. Thats why it benefits business, because they are able to add or remove phones without hassle or extra charge. This allows a small company to grow as their customer base expands. The flexibility is key, especially within a tough economy as we currently endure today.
This new age of technology has led to the expansion of Hosted VoIP systems. It has improved the Telecom market drastically as a new market has formed. This market has grown and expanded in a way that gives a sense of how important it could be to the future of telecom. Unified Communications improve the whole hosted voip system as well, by adding certain functions/features that add mobility and functionality. The combination of each creates a telecom product far superior to that of a premise-based system. The ultimatum is that more companies are choosing a Hosted VoIP system in comparison to a premise-based one and this trend seems to be continuing.
